The Brief
Tell the story of a dairy producer in Carmarthenshire facing closure in the aftermath of the pandemic.
The Idea
One farm, one family, one year that decided everything.
My Contribution
Ross directed and produced the film personally: observational shooting on location in Carmarthenshire, landscape and character photography, and a cut built around what the subject wasn't saying.
The Production
An independent production shot on location — observational filming with the family across the year, edited by Ross into the final film.
The Result
Recognised through the BAFTA-affiliated Carmarthen Bay Film Festival, and the clearest statement of Ross as a filmmaker rather than only an executive producer.
