International Production
Eleven Films. Eleven Countries. One Album Campaign.
27 October 2026
That was the brief when Alexis Ffrench’s management asked me to curate the visuals for Truth.
With pandemic restrictions still complicating travel, the challenge was to find the right filmmakers around the world and give each film its own perspective while keeping the campaign connected. It led to conversations with directors and producers from Brazil to Japan, Iceland and Los Angeles.
Some particularly proud moments: Guiding Light, directed by Blake Claridge, a beautifully understated film shaped by its coastal setting; our collaboration with Japanese director Yosuke Kobayashi, bringing remarkable visual storytelling to the campaign; a synchronised dance film, which Yosuke and I co-directed from Tokyo and London, working with Alexis’s daughter and choreographer Savannah Ffrench; and Canyons, directed and edited by Urban Ström, with a stunning performance set against the Scottish Highlands.
The experience reinforced something I value in international production: local creative voices can take a shared idea somewhere you would never have reached alone.
Thank you to Isabelle Tuillez, Philip McCaughan, Alexis and everyone who helped bring this beautiful campaign to life. Those relationships continue to shape how I work today.
